For some denture wearers, that have problems with comfort, little ridge support and sore spots.
Implant retained overdentures represent a treatment option for many patients that cannot tolerate conventional dentures. Implant retained overdenture is a removable prosthesis supported by the oral tissues and retained by dental implants.
Dentures that are retained on implants will not slip or move around. An implant retained prosthesis will also reduce the gagging reflex of palatial coverage.
A removable denture is often used when many or all teeth are missing. The denture is attached by cap attachments that allow you to remove the prosthesis for cleaning, and night time removal.
